The LMU Systems Engineering, a Department within the Frank R. Seaver College of Science and Engineering, utilizes an innovative approach to a curriculum that is new and industry-relevant. New courses and certification programs that have been added to the 2018-2019 curriculum: Occupy Mars course, Technology Transitions course, Cybersecurity Certificate, Software Architecture Certificate, and Space Systems Certificate. In order to stay relevant, the program is currently curating a research opportunity for graduate students as well as building a new Engineering building by 2020. As the largest Catholic, Jesuit University on the West Coast, LMU has a low student to teacher ratio ensuring that each student receives a more hands-on approach to learning. Frank R.
