Oxfam's vision is a just world without poverty. Its mission is to build lasting solutions to poverty and injustice with a focus on improving the lives and promoting the rights of women and girls.A large regular giving donorbase is crucial to delivering this mission, and to Oxfam's ability to have an independent and powerful voice as a global campaigning organization. And over the last five years, face-to-face fundraising has been responsible for over 70% of new, regular givers for Oxfam globally. The Frontliners are Oxfam Canada's first ever dedicated team of face-to-face fundraisers and ambassadors. We power Oxfam's movement against poverty and inequality by mobilizing individuals to take action, today. As fundraisers, we put the 'grit' in integrity. We believe in meeting passion with discipline. And at the heart of what we do is the understanding that raising funds is not the job in and of itself. It is the outcome of doing our job effectively - that is, to connect with individuals through meaningful dialogue, and to inspire alignment between their values and their actions.
