Sequence templates provide a shortcut to crafting effective communication workflows. ConnectPlex offers a range of templates tailored for various purposes, enabling you to launch engaging sequences without starting from scratch.

NOTE Sequences support text format only and do not allow HTML format. HTML is exclusively available for email campaigns.

Step-by-step guide for setting up Sequence Template

• After logging in, please click on ‘Setup > Sequence Templates > New Sequence Template’
• Put any reference name for the template in ‘Reference name for this sequence template’
• Don’t choose anything in the ‘Select template’ drop down. You can keep it as is.
• In Subject Spin, you can write the subject line of the email.
• In Body Spin, you can write the content of the email
• If you prefer, you can ‘Spin’ the Subject and Body content for getting multiple variations of the same. Please note that this is not necessary and you can do this only if you need. For content spinning, please refer to the following video Link
• If you would like automated follow ups to go, then you can click on ‘+’ symbol next to each follow up. Please note that
• We recommend automated follow ups to be done only as appropriate and based on your email template and audience. Also, the number of email follow ups should also be thought through and done only as appropriate.
• ConnectPlex will not follow up with anyone who reverts on the first mail.
• We don’t recommend more than the 2nd follow up for any email outreach program. Even the first and second follow up should be done only as required.
• For the follow up emails, please make them ‘Active’ by clicking on the button next to the ‘Active’ field.
• Again, don’t choose anything in the ‘Select template’ drop down. You can keep it as is.
• In Subject Spin, you can write the subject line of the follow up mail. However, we recommend keeping this field untouched. It will automatically fill up with a ‘Re: ‘ added in front of the previous subject.
• In Body Spin, please write the content of the follow up email. Please note:
• The previous email sent (or sequence of emails sent) will automatically be added to this new email at the end since “#previousEmail#” has been added by default to the ‘Body Spin’ of follow up emails.

• We recommend just adding a one line follow up only. E.g.

• Specify the number of days after which this follow up email should be sent out. This is the number of days since the previous email has been sent to the recipient. We recommend keeping a minimum of 4 - 7 days between the initial mail and 1st follow up. Also, ideally keep a 10 - 25 day period between the 1st follow up and 2nd follow up.
