Bread+Roses is a program incubator and consultancy service dedicated to the economic empowerment of women, and those who identify as women. We work with organisations, government, corporates and not-for-profits to develop impactful and innovative ways to improve financial resilience and economic equality for all women . We listen deeply, ask questions, consciously resist the ‘single story narrative' and actively search for axes of intersectionality, so we can begin to understand the needs for individuals or groups, and what matters to them most.We are committed to developing projects and initiatives that result in:Money and wealth growth being normalised: mothers and daughters discussing money around the dinner table, passing on knowledge to family and friends, developing control and agency around their money and economic futures.Women and girls knowing how to invest and grow their money: accessible, tailored financial education programs that focus on wealth growth and meet women where they are.A deeper understanding of women's relationship to money and the cultural and societal conditioning informing this.Building the economic empowerment of women who are financially excluded: blue collar workers, migrant and refugees, lower socio-economic groups, older women.
