CLCa is a leading architectural firm which has contributed to the restoration and the urban renewal of Québec city ; some of their projects have won awards from the City and the Québec architecture association (in the last years: Monique-Corriveau Library, Giffard Sports Center, Pavillon Espace 400...).We are presently working on major projects in Quebec City, as well as on different residential buildings, historical buildings renovations, hotels etc. We have participated to many competitions (as the National Museum of Québec, in partnership with Adjaye architects): we were finalists for the CESM Soccer Complex competition; we won the urban art competition "Saint-Roch Technoculture" (with the artist Andre Du Bois) ; in May 2009 CÔTÉ LEAHY CARDAS architects was chosen laureate of the «Paysages suspendus» national competition which is about the urban rehabilitation of four raised segments of an autoroute above the lower town of Québec City.Our project «Pavillon Espace 400e» (with Dan Hanganu architects) has been awarded twice by the "Ordre des architectes du Québec" (Award of Excellence 2009, in two categories); it also won the 2008 Canadian Institute of Steel Construction (CISC) Award of Excellence and the Prix du Jury by the City of Québec.Since 1995 CLCa has also worked in France.In the past 5 years CÔTÉ LEAHY CARDAS architectes has worked on hotels, cultural and heritage projects, sports resorts, shopping malls, residential and industrial projects.
