Launched in 2012, CoreAlign is a proactive movement-building initiative that is harnessing the collective passion and expertise of all stakeholders in the reproductive health, rights and justice movement. CoreAlign is working for a future where all people have the resources, rights and respect they need to make decisions about their sexual and reproductive lives. To realize this bold vision, CoreAlign is building a network of leaders committed to practices of innovation and collaboration in order to inclusively craft a visionary 30-year strategy for the movement. We design, test and implement a wide range of programs that bring people together to deepen connections and enhance their skills in organizing, network-building, innovation and collaboration, in order to create innovative strategies for movement-building. CoreAlign is building a staff and consultant team that thrives in a start-up environment of rapid change and programmatic evolution. Since movement-building and large-scale social problem solving is complex and mostly unknown, we are a team committed to proactive problem-solving and a mission-driven mindset. We are impact-oriented and thrive on the collaborative workshopping of ideas. We are looking for people who are curious, generous and generative; who are comfortable, or at least willing to lean into risk and discomfort; who are committed to action and experimentation; and who understand that innovation requires learning from experiments that don’t always work (“fail fast to learn fast” ).
