MacSource/ CompuSource was the largest Apple Retailer and one of the largest IBM, Compaq and Dell partners in Central Europe. With revenues of over a quarter billion Czech Crowns and three locations MacSource developed a reputation as one of the premiere B2B and B2C players on the market. An early proponent of e-commerce, MacSource was asked by Apple Inc. to open the first Apple Authorized Retail Store in Central Europe. In 2011 MacSource was sold to a domestic investment holding company in the Czech Republic and the owners exited.
