SlamData Details
Data complexity has exploded over the last 15 years. Sources like APIs, SaaS apps, IoT platforms, NoSQL databases — they all rely on complex object schema; yet we have seen no significant innovations in handling these in an automated and efficient way. The rise of the data engineer amounts to simply throwing money at the problem — in the form of more human labor. There’s no “scale” to be found with this approach. Precog is the first solution that deals with this problem using mathematics (Multi-dimensional Algebra), Scalar Evaluation (Tectonic) and advanced schema detection (Scion). Precog has indeed solved data integration problems by delivering true ELT automation. This is radically changing the way our customers are working with data. It will have a profound impact across most business units — from business planning to customer service, to product development. Why? Because every company relies on 20-50 “apps” — and right now teams are stuck manually building integrations or relying on 5 different integration partner/solutions. It’s a major blocker. Precog is a completely unique and forward-thinking approach to making modern into business-ready data in a few minutes.
