The choices we make now to engage in addressing our differences so that we can face our future collectively will determine the kind of world we pass on to the future. We hail from different parts of the world. We are the children of immigrants and the descendants of enslaved Africans. We are translators, trailblazers, code switchers and shapeshifters who maneuver a complex, dynamic world. We share a commitment to communities impacted by systemic injustice and a dream of a world where everyone can show up whole. We all have a responsibility and role to play in making this a reality.
