Technology Consulting/Tech Services

Magnar develops hardware and software technologies that transform access control for maritime facilities around the United States. We believe that access control technology should be accessible to all MTSA facilities. This is why Magnar introduced the FortifID -- the first and only portable TWIC reader subscription on the market. FortifID is used by cruise terminals, port authorities, container terminals, certain dangerous cargo (CDC), liquid bulk, roll on / roll off, chemical facilities, etc. where security best practice is mission critical -- because SAFETY is mission critical. Magnar understands that every MTSA facility is unique and that every security organization must work efficiently with their operational counterparts, which is why our solutions focus so heavily upon configurability and TWIC inspection speed. This allows every MTSA facility stakeholder to benefit immediately from our innovative technologies, while conveniently improving the long term security posture and regulatory compliance requirements of Facility Security Officers. When innovative technology is backed by world class support, the outdated trade-off between security and convenience becomes a thing of the past. We're changing the way that Facility Security Officers think about security, safety, and efficiency. It's time for every MTSA facility to benefit from an access control solution that has been tailored to their needs.
