Hushpak Engineering specialises in noise control solutions for the mining, manufacturing and construction industries. We design and manufacture bespoke noise attenuation products, with particular experience in source attenuation of mobile machinery (including dozers, haul trucks, graders and excavators) as well as barriers and enclosures for noisy industrial operations and road noise. As leaders in noise control solutions, we are committed to providing effective noise control solutions that attenuate sound at the source without compromising the performance, operation or maintainability of the equipment. In fact we have attenuated haul trucks and graders so they pass the noise test whilst improving machine accessibility, improving safety of maintenance tasks and without increasing engine back pressure. We have achieved up to 6 dB(A) noise reduction using our exhaust and muffler systems and cooling fans.To effectively reduce unwanted noise, we first need to understand the noise profile of the machine or equipment. We follow International Standards for dynamic and stationary test conditions when evaluating noise impacts of earth-moving machinery, or rely on acoustic results from NATA certified laboratories. We also conduct noise modelling, assessment of machinery sound power levels, noise source measurement, sound intensity and discrete frequency analysis. Our strong R&D focus ensures we keep abreast of new sound attenuation products and acoustic materials. Having noise tested hundreds of mobile machines, Hushpak has proven knowledge of acoustics and predominant noise sources. Our specifically engineered solutions are developed using sophisticated analytics and design tools to achieve exceptional results with less capital outlay. Our strict quality control procedures ensure high quality products are designed and manufactured in our Newcastle facility. With 20 years' experience…. we are the quiet achievers.

Hushpak Engineering helps reduce noise in the mining, manufacturing, and construction industries. They design and make special noise-reducing products for machines like bulldozers, trucks, and excavators. They also make barriers and enclosures for noisy operations and roads. They want to reduce noise without affecting how well the machines work or how safe they are to maintain. They've even made haul trucks and graders quieter without affecting their performance. They use special exhaust and muffler systems and cooling fans to reduce noise by up to 6 decibels. To reduce noise, they first understand the noise the machine makes. They follow international standards for testing and use certified labs to measure noise. They also use special tools to analyze sound intensity and frequency. They keep up-to-date with new sound-reducing products and materials. They have tested hundreds of machines and know a lot about acoustics. They use sophisticated tools to design and make their solutions, which are made in their Newcastle facility. They have 20 years of experience and are good at what they do.
